It is no secret I love bad characters. This isn’t just the bad boys, it’s equal opportunity. So much so, my “motto” is “The Hero isn’t always the good guy, or girl.”

On July 27th, I have the honor to present a workshop on the sliding scale of heroes to villains, and what nuances a writer can leverage to craft a better story. This includes not only the time-tested “Save the Cat” moment, but also what constitutes enough atonement and how to spot your personal line, either as a reader or as an author, where the “somewhat” bad becomes down-right evil.
As always, you should cover those youthful ears because, like most bad girls, I swear. A lot.
