Scaredy cat. LOL.
I’ll be IN PERSON at Fright Reads on Saturday, September 28th at 4pm.
Here are the details: Frightreads Book Festival at the Benfield Sports Arena in Millersville, MD. Address is 1031 Benfield Blvd, Millersville, MD 21108.
The event is Veteran-owned and operated, and is a festival for horror, science fiction, fantasy, dystopia, and thrillers readers and fans. The event features authors, actors, artists, and creators of all kinds. It is family-friendly and full of spine-tingling fun.
Come see why it’s the premiere horror book festival in Maryland!
The panel (that I’m on) topic (starting at 4 PM) is:
FrightReads: On Making Monsters
Leading the discussion will be the incomparable Midnight Voss. She’ll talk briefly about the history of werewolves as a monster archetype. Next, Margaret Bates will explore the history of witches. Their editing site is: https://otherlands-editing.com/
I’m following these two amazing writers, scholars, and editors to discuss how I was inspired to write about ghosts/the undead for my Bones series. Hint: Mythology! But shh. Don’t spoil it for everyone else.
There will be a round robin Q&A after the presentation, and a costume contest immediately aft4er we end at 4:45 PM.
I hope you join us and cheer us on.
