Before we continue, let’s first clarify just what are the Sinister Legacy books… The first of the duet is “Valentine’s Code” where the tall, deadly, and meticulously quiet type falls for the “responsible” twin. So you have a Calia Wilde OG, mafia romance, twin trouble, and two very compatible people doing at least one spontaneous thing that leads them to their happy ever after.
Then there are their alter-egos: his BFF in crime, her “evil” twin, and a whole lot of trouble in “Devlin’s Luck.” It’s what would happen if the world of John Wick meets romance with a dash of the 1998 Parent Trap except the twins are all grown up and falling for mobsters…in Vegas.
Of course there’s the whole “whisked away” trope as well. I absolutely adored writing these two books and the readers are feeling it.
