Suggested Order Configurations

All Destroyers MC books are meant to work as standalone stories. The characters, locations, and some events overlap on occasion. Below is the suggested reading order based on MULTIPLE factors.

Feel free to pick your favorite reading order.

Bad Girls First

O’Mega’s Revenge

SKILLETSVILLE ADJACENT: read after Lights Camera Mayhem and BEFORE Blue-Eyed Jacks

Biker Queen

You may want to read BEFORE Truth as Poison

Down in Blood

This book is the HAGERSTOWN SERIES starting point. Begin with this one if reading in Author Concept order or by series.

Bad Boys/all books

O’Mega’s Revenge

SKILLETSVILLE ADJACENT: read after Lights Camera Mayhem and BEFORE Blue-Eyed Jacks

Biker Queen

You may want to read BEFORE Truth as Poison

Down in Blood

This book is the HAGERSTOWN SERIES starting point. Begin with this one if reading in Author Concept order or by series.

Author Concept Order

This selection is as the author wrote/released the books. It does not follow a chronological timeline, but likely makes the most sense as all prior books become canon by the time of release.

  • Down in Blood
  • Dreams in the Dark
  • Stone into Stars (short)
  • Destroyers Soul
  • Truth as Poison
  • Biker Queen
  • The Town Princess
  • O’Mega’s Revenge
  • Lights Camera Mayhem
  • Second Chance Santa
  • Dueling Flames
  • Restore the Night
  • Legacy of Smoke
  • Blue-Eyed Jacks
  • Live Love Steal
  • Roses Are Dead
  • Not Mine to Rescue

Final notes:

The Concept order may make sense to readers because any time overlap occurs within the prior/in plotting books as canon.

TKI Inclusion

Below are books or stories in the TKI series that connect to the Destroyers works. O’Mega’s Revenge

Embrace the Ground

The TKI series starts while Ice (from Down in Blood) is still in the Army years ago. It can be read directly after Down in Blood, or before. It should make no difference to the stories as they only interconnect via characters, not time or events. In EtG, Ice meets Wolf (Skilletsville, O’Mega’s Revenge, and if you read EtG, do so BEFORE OMR) while rehabbing at Walter Reed.

The short story, Embrace the Ground is Ice’s Sergeant’s story, John (Claude) Vann and his wife Janine. These characters, specifically Claude, are also mentioned in a few other Destroyers books.

Two Right Shoes

This story features Claude, but otherwise has no relationship with the Destroyers Series. It is set in contemporary time, so chronologically occurs after Embrace the Ground.

The collection of stories then follow other contractors who work for TKI. Claude shows up in those but for the most part it is separate from the biker stories listed above.

There have been two cross-over series that overlap Destroyers characters. The Devil’s Handmaidens MC collection (O’Mega’s Revenge), and the 2025 “31 Days of Trick or Treat” Bikers and Mobsters book. (Roses Are Dead) They will eventually be rolled into the series. They have been included in the timelines as they do affect reading order.
