Award the Night

I have a secret. Competition is one of those “things” that I both dread and lust over. It’s a great feeling to win. But with certain anxiety issues and spicy brain issues, not winning is an exercise in squashing that inner critic all to pieces with each rejection.

Top 10 favorite reviews of 2024

My readers are AWESOME. I’ve gotten so many great reviews for Restore the Night and other books, I just had to recap some of them here. In order to do that, I hand-picked my top ten favorite review comments from 2025. Did your review make the list?

Like a Ton of Bricks…

In this morning’s writing sprints, the leader casually dropped this sentence, “And you, Miss Calia, have a release tomorrow…” WHAM. It really is real. Restore the Night releases tomorrow. Wow. I almost cried. Again. This book, I swear. This was by far the most coordinated, detailed launch I’ve done. The only thing left on my…

Reviewing the Night

Early reviews are in! Five stars for Restore the Night! I’m stoked because many of the reviewers are “new to me” readers. They picked up advanced copies from places like BookSirens, BookSprout, or Hidden Gems. If you want to be one of the early readers, the links are

Updates, Bookmas, and a new story

In the last few weeks I’ve felt “overwhelmed.” It didn’t seem like I’d been doing a whole lot except writing, but it hit me today why I’ve been experiencing that panicked, “what did I forget?” moments. Instead of innundating you with a post for each, I’ll attempt to summarize

Candle Sneak Peek

I’ve been in the writing cave. Nickel is getting his own book. He’s been quietly working on the sidelines to make the new club successful. But at what cost? …Maybe… Love? Yeah, he shoved his HEA to the sidelines. Despite that, Rachel falls HARD for the quiet biker with glasses.
